Auction Donation

Each vendor is asked to contribute an item to the Silent Auction. For wineries, a magnum or equivalent valued item, or donations of experiences (private tastings, tours, other packages) are accepted. For food vendors, a gift card from the restaurant or a donation of experiences (private tastings, special packages, etc) are also accepted.

Donation Description

A brief description will be published; please also include, price and points of each bottle and how to store, if applicable. For experiences, memberships, or gift cards, include any special instructions, conditions and/or expiration date please.

Insurance

Please provide a certificate of insurance listing the Santa Monica Education Foundation, the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District, Ocean Ave. LLC, Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows and FRHI Holdings Limited as additional insured including waiver of subrogation for no less than $1M general occurrence/liability, $2M general aggregate along with worker’s compensation as required by state law and, if serving alcohol, $1,000,000 Liquor Liability Coverage. We, the afore listed company, hereby agrees to participate in the Ed Foundation Wine Auction event(s).

By agreeing to participate as a tasting vendor in the outdoor event area on April 26, 2026, we understand that bites or tasting pours for 400 guests will need to be provided by our company. We also agree to donate the requested silent auction item for the event, no later than April 3, 2026. All requested information and insurance certificate will be provided in a timely manner in order to participate in this event(s).

Post Auction Promotional Info

Following the Wine Auction, we offer two different marketing opportunities for your company. We will email all attendees with a link to your website, or preferred url, as well as include a special offer or promo for your company if you choose. This will happen immediately following the event. Additionally, we will also include your company in our May Newsletter emailed to our 12k+ database, letting our community know you participated in the event and played a big role in supporting our public schools. Please let us know if you want us to include a promo to the larger audience, specific link, and/or additional information.
