$70,000 Dun & Bradsteet Matching Grant

Through September 9th, all donations to SMMEF will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $70,000, thanks to a generous matching grant from Dun & Bradstreet.

Dun & Bradstreet is proud to announce a $100,000 commitment to Santa Monica-Malibu Education Foundation (SMMEF). This includes a monetary matching grant of $70,000, plus $30,000 in-kind commitment to support Dun & Bradstreet’s EdAhead high school internship program for students at Santa Monica High School and Malibu High School. This brings Dun & Bradstreet’s total impact to SMMUSD students, including gifts brought in during previous matching grants, to $822,495 since 2013. Through these contributions, Dun & Bradstreet has helped fund a comprehensive set of programs designed to improve student achievement and success, from transitional Kindergarten to 12th grade in the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District. Dun & Bradstreet’s supports schools through its EdAhead program. EdAhead was the first education savings plan with a multiple match. Employee contributions activate a match by company dollars as well as a donation to local public schools. EdAhead is sparked by the power of personal action, gains momentum through the company’s shared commitment, and multiplies the benefit in communities close to their homes. EdAhead was created to support the next generation of thinkers, doers, and innovators. Since launching the program in 2013, EdAhead has led a national impact of more than $1,000,000 in contributions to STEM programs and youth academic competitions across the U.S. For more information on the EdAhead plan or to find out how your company can offer an EdAhead program for your employees, visit www.EdAhead.org.
